Dr Malcolm Braithwaite CSci CChem FRSC.

After some 35 years in industrial management and academe, Dr Braithwaite founded Resonato with the primary objective of addressing the reputation issues that inhibit public trust of science-based enterprises. Delivery of meaningful, effective messages is best achieved from those intimately involved in the conduct of the business of such enterprises, but experience over some 20 years directly involved in reputation enhancement, has taught the need to develop specific communication techniques to interact effectively with each specific stakeholder group.

Dr Braithwaite has held leadership positions as CEO, Director, Business Manager, Technical Manager, and Research Scientist across a number of SMEs in the chemicals industry. He has proactively participated in the promotion of enterprise, science and technology with various industry and professional bodies including the Chemical Industries Association, Royal Society of Chemistry, Society of Chemical Industry, Understanding Science, Speak Out and Listen, Chemical Industry Education Centre, and others. Interaction with local and national Government agencies, including regulatory bodies, has extended his experience across the stakeholder field.

In his most recent appointment, he led his company’s reputation programme over a period of some five years, during which the quality, effectiveness, and success was recognised with nominations and awards from independent, industry bodies.

With an extensive personal experience, and access to a network of specialists in the various relevant fields, Dr Braithwaite can bring the necessary levels of input into any company’s reputation management programme.
